Description
Solanum lycopersicum
HEIRLOOM. Bring the classic taste of italian cooking into your kitchen with this heirloom tomato. Principe Borghese is widely-loved for sauces and salads, but became famous for being the perfect “pomodori secchi” or sun-dried tomato. Principe Borghese grows in clusters of meaty, plum shaped, two inch long and bright red fruits with very little juice and few seeds. Because of this, and because it retains much of its color even when dried, it is the perfect choice for a delectable and sweet, mouth-watering sun-dried tomato. Principe Borghese is crack resistant and disease resistant and benefits from trellising as it can grow up to six feet with weighty fruits. Because it is a determinate tomato variety, it will fruit all at once for one prolific harvest.

Seeds started sprouting about a week after planting… very happy with this product. Planning on buying more in the future.

This makes a great addition to any salad or bread products you make. I use it in bread making. Very healthy and you get plenty.

I purchased this bag of flax seed for seed cycling in attempt to regulate my cycle. I eat 1 Tablespoon per day for 2 weeks during the Follicular Phase (days 1-14). These taste fine and are easy to eat. I would eat them in the evening, mixed with 100g plain Greek yogurt as an after dinner treat. It’s too soon to tell if they’ve had any impacts to my cycle. I will continue to eat them.
