Description
Ocimum basilicum
Slender, two inch long leaves have a spicy anise-clove flavor. With attractive purple stems and blooms, this herb is essential in Thai and Vietnamese cooking. Grows 18 to 24 inches tall.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Basil will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, basil will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for leaves and flowers. Annual.

These are a nice variety of high quality seeds. You get a reasonable amount of seeds per packet. They’re well labeled. I have started some in my greenhouse, and I plan to transplant them into my indoor hydroponic set up once they get big enough. So far, every single seed I’ve planted is sprouting sturdy, healthy plants. I highly recommend this brand.
