Description
Cucurbita pepo
HEIRLOOM. This classic zucchini was introduced in the 1930s by D.V. Burrell Seed Growers of Rocky Ford, Colorado. It has since come to be a favorite of farmers and gardeners alike. Lovely medium-green fruits flecked with gray grow on highly productive, bush-type plants. When picked small, at about 6 to 8 inches long, the flavor and crisp, tender texture can’t be beat.
