I mix them with unsalted and low salt sunflower seeds, trying to avoid too much salty seasoning in a season when salt and heat, make my ankles swell

I was a little hesitant based on the other comments, but so far I’ve planted one of each and they’ve all come up. Hopefully when I transplant them they’ll make it here in a few weeks.

You can add a 1/4 of a cup of these to your bread dough and make your homemade bread even more delicious. My husband claimed the last bread I baked was absolutely his favorite and the best. I think it is because I added maple syrup instead of honey and put in some rye flakes too. Making homemade bread is such a joy and I’m happy to have found these unsalted sunflower seeds which are perfect. I also brushed some melted butter on the bread before baking and sprinkled some sesame seeds and caraway on the loaf.

I add pumpkin seeds to my cereal every morning. Dried fruit and sunflower seeds too. I’ve tried many organic brands, but it’s very hard to be required to buy 1 or 2 pounds at a time. Many were dusty or too dry or gritty.
