This purple-toned, elongated paste tomato was created by North Carolina backyard tomato breeder and tomato sauce enthusiast Richard Spencer, from a cross of everyone’s favorite tomato, Cherokee Purple, and an heirloom paste tomato called Cow’s Tit. Crimson Cow carries the rich flavor and color of a Cherokee Purple, but is meaty enough to make the best homemade sauce you’ve ever tasted!
