Lobelia siphilitica
This Eastern US native perennial, also known as Blue Cardinal Flower, is a favorite of pollinators and thrives in moist soils along water edges and low-lying areas. Plants grow 2-3 feet tall, and its tubular blooms appear in late summer to fall. It prefers to grow in shade, but can tolerate full sun in cool climates. Great Blue Lobelia seeds should be cold-moist stratified for 60 days before planting. Perennial.
