Description
Lactuca sativa
ORGANIC. This lettuce has it all! Uniformity, color, and excellent resistance to bolting and disease! A Batavian-type that is non-heading with exceptionally large leaves that are delightfully crinkly and textured, ready to hold your favorite dressing. Huge, loose heads are green at the base and dark red at the ruffled leaf edges. Very strong heat tolerance and moderate cold tolerance. Will hold its crispness and sweetness well into summer and is very slow to bolt. A true winner!

I dont know why some bags are fresh and some smell horrible. I think it’s the packaging but they are always crunchy

Good variety. Follow the tips and instructions. Already seeing some growth nicely like my dill. Additional germination tip, put seeds in a wet paper towel inside ziploc bag tapped to a sunny window.

I love how the planting zones are included, and how each packet is labeled properly.

As described. I throw a few handfuls around in my flower beds now waiting for them to grow.
