I specifically eat flaxseed for the fiber. It is great in a smoothie, over cottage cheese or yogurt, over oats, or even in a blended smoothie.

This was actually a mistake purchase by me. I meant to be buying Sunflower seeds. But now all my neighbors are raving about my sunflower seed breads and muffins. These seeds are surprisingly not over salted, so they are great for baking. I use them as the amount of salt I would normally have to add to my baking.
