I ordered this Spectrum Essentials Organic Ground Premium Flaxseed because I read flaxseed may help lower your blood pressure so thought I would give it a try. I have added 2 Tbsp to my Greek yogurt daily for several months and my last blood pressure reading was improved. I do not have any proof that it was the flaxseed that improved my blood pressure reading, but am hoping that it helped. An added unexpected result of using flaxseed is that the ridges in my fingernails have disappeared and my fingernails are much stronger and do not split as they did previously. Again, I do not know if it is due to the flaxseed or not. I have read other people say they do not like the taste, but I do not notice any taste to it when adding it to my yogurt. I will continue to use this product as I do believe I have had good results from eating it.
