Description
Zea mays
HEIRLOOM. Produces 2 to 3 large ears per stalk with lovely, dark red kernels. Plants grow up to 12 feet tall and have good drought tolerance. Mature ears can be made into exceptionally flavorful cornmeal and grits, and the young ears are good for old-fashioned roasted corn.
1/4 lb package contains a minimum of 300 seeds.

Theses are the most flavorful & crunchy sunflower seeds. They have a better texture than the regular ones. I believe sprouted ones have better nutritional qualities, too.

So, who doesn’t love a nutritionally dense food (cracker) to accompany your seasonal soup or salad? Dipped in a little hummus, the bomb! (Hummus not necessary though, I flavored my crackers with Braggs multi season) Anyway, less than 2 Tbsp, of EVO to make a batch of crackers, using 1/2 cup of these seeds, yielding approximately 2 boxes of typical grocery store seeded crackers. Not only was the math on this incredible, but the nutrition was over the top. It’s my new ‘fiberous’ go to for nibbling anytime. I can’t make them often enough, they are delicious!
