Description
Beta vulgaris
The best beet for pickles! This heirloom from Denmark is also known as “Butter Slicer” because of its tender, smooth texture. Long, uniform, carrot-like roots make for very easy peeling and slicing. Grows up to 6″ long and can be used for pickles or cooking at this size, but is best harvested at 3-4″ for fresh eating.
2 gram packet contains a minimum of 110 seeds.

I love these!! I am so thankful they only come in 3.5 serving bags so it becomes very apparent how far into a serving you are. My husband was also very skeptical because “they dont look like the kind you get from Halloween pumpkins” so naturally if it looks different they MUST be different and they are…BECAUSE THEY ARE BETTER! They have a very nice texture and for the calories, OMEGAS, fiber, protein, and low sodium they are a fantastic snack food when you are on the go!

Don’t get any better than this. I never could do the shell so I’d chew it all up
