Description
Cucurbita maxima
HEIRLOOM. A North Carolina original and part of the Slow Foods Ark of Taste! Large, rampant vines produce 12-14 lb fruits. Produces delightfully warty, buttercup-shaped fruit, with pinkish-orange coloring and blue-green markings. Very sweet and excellent for baking.

I received these seeds quickly. I planted them yesterday (4-19-2025), so I have no idea whether they will come up or not. I guess we will see. The package was pristine and there are plenty of seeds, so I will cross my fingers. I was glad to find these at a decent price.

Great seeds and quantity to quality ratio

Very impressed! This inexpensive packet came with 10 small seed packets; 10 empty small plastic bags (for after you open the seed packets); 10 small “stakes” to use to put the name of the plant; a WONDERFUL little “book” on how to grow the various varieties. Everything you need except some dirt (and maybe a pot). I’m impressed!

My mom and I started using this on an empty stomach. The first time I cleanse my stomach, it makes you go to the bathroom, and it really worked for me. I hope to see more results.
