Description
Salvia apiana
Also known as bee sage or sacred sage, White Sage is an aromatic evergreen perennial herb Native Americans use to make smudge sticks. Bushy plants grow up to 36″ tall. Dusty gray-green foliage is good for attracting bees and other pollinators to your garden.
Start seeds indoors three to four weeks before your last frost date. Transplant outside after all danger of frost has passed. Seeds benefit from scarification. When starting seeds, keep soil temperatures between 70 and 85° F. Requires light to germinate so gently press seeds into the soil without covering them. White sage will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once established, white sage is quite drought tolerant. Typically grown for leaves. Frost sensitive perennial.

Seeds grew great!

These seeds, in addition to being beautifully packaged, arrived quickly and were exactly as advertised. I can’t speak to the germination rate yet, as I just started them two days ago, but will come back in a bit and update how many seeds germinated. I especially love that there is lavender included in this pack!

I bought this for my son for his birthday. He already has his grower all set up and is waiting for these to grow!

I like the way this product is packaged for use. It contains the labels to identify the seeds planted ( picture 2). The individual seed packets are well marked too. The foil packaging helps keep the seeds fresh and undamaged by any moisture.
