Description
Origanum majorana
Delicate, potent-flavored leaves grow on plants that reach one to two feet tall. Rounded, grey-green leaves can be used in culinary applications fresh or dried.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Marjoram will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, marjoram will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for leaves. Frost sensitive perennial.

Most of the original batch, which I planted in late May did not sprout. I live in Zone 9A if that’s of help to anyone. I planed these in containers with native, organic soil. I am still giving 5 stars because they fully refunded the purchase price without hassle and offered to send me a free replacement. So I suppose one has nothing to lose. My feeling is that in zones 5 though 8 they would work much better. I just need to search for some that are hearty for this zone and probably plant much earlier, say around early April, or even in March.

I have very little experience planting anything, but wanted fresh herbs around. I followed the directions from the video posted by the sellers and just over a week later have some results! Excited to see how big they get.
