HEIRLOOM. Country Gentleman corn kernels form in a random pattern, as opposed to the usually tidy rows found on most other ears of corn. An old timey shoepeg variety for fresh eating that can tower over 9′ high with large ears. White kernels are less sweet than modern varieties but still have great flavor.

Took 10 seeds from each packet and placed into starter containers. A few days later had a 100 sprouts. A couple of weeks later, transferred beans, squash, and peas directly to garden and seem to be doing fantastic (even despite not really preparing the soil first). I transferred the tomato seedlings to 5 gallon pots and they seem to nearly double in size almost every day! I’m doing the leafy greens under an indoor grow light in a tray. Probably in another week or so, I can start plucking leaves for fresh daily salads. I’ve always had more luck with mycology than botany, so I’m feeling pretty pleased that I have green popping up everywhere. Long story short: Viable seeds even if you don’t have a viable green thumb.

This is the cutest little bonsai starter kit! I was surprised at the compact size when I received it but after receiving it I realize it is actually perfect to start these trees growing. I appreciate the step by step instructions that provide guidance on how to successfully get your bonsai tree growing! It includes everything that is needed.

Each package had just the right amount of seeds for the project that we were doing in class. The students were excited to see them to feel them to read about them on the packaging that was very decorative for most of the packages. A few were plain. This was just right for our winter garden.
