Description
Solanum lycopersicum
This tomato is amazing! Large, meaty, with few seeds and the perfect balance of sweetness. Wins the newcomer of the year award! We can’t find too much history on this tomato. There seems to be a hybrid tomato called Big Mama out there, but we obtained this seed from the annual Appalachian Seed Swap in Pikeville, KY from a gentleman named Larry Phipps who in turn got the seed from his cousin. What we know for sure is this tomato is delicious and versatile. Large enough to make a good slicing tomato, and meaty enough to make a great sauce.
Indeterminate.
0.1 gram packet contains a minimum of 40 seeds.

The grocery store I do most of my shopping quite carrying this product. This is a little more expensive but well worth the trouble.

Well packed and great variety.

There is a great selection of herbs for tea, medicine and cooking in this assortment. Plenty of seeds to go around (indoors and outdoors).

I haven’t planted these yet, but I’ve got them over in a spreader. Just waiting for the last freeze and it’s going out! These are all pretty standard. Seeds look like they’re in good condition and there were no pests or mold inside the bag. Maintained very well. Should grow nicely. Will update if there are any issues.
