Description
Ocimum basilicum
An ornamental herb that is fragrant and tasty. With a slightly sharper flavor than sweet basils, the color translates beautifully to a purple vinegar. Grows on 18 to 24 inch tall plants.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Basil will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, basil will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for leaves and flowers. Annual.

I like Bonsais, specially this kit is both for Spring-Summer session and Fall-Winter session. There are seeds both for being planted in Fall and cold Winter, but not in Spring and Summer.
