Description
Allium cepa
HEIRLOOM. This heirloom onion has rich history dating back to the 1700’s and is also known as Dark Red Beauty. Deep red, slightly flattened, and a fair keeper. It really shines as a fresh eating onion, perfect for salads.
Long Day.

What can I say, I’m a sunflower seed lover and these pepper ones are really, really good.

They came sooner than expected. For $7.99 it was a great price for 25 packets of different flowers. None of mine were doubles. The only one I didn’t get was lavender, but I’m not even mad since I did get poppy, snapdragon, calendula and 2 different zinnias. They were marked for the 2021 growing season, but that’s on me since I ordered them this month. I would definitely recommend these for the price and assortment.

Unfortunately, my chickens don’t like them in spite of being told of their many health benefits including as a natural dewormer. Their dislike is not just this brand but any raw, organic, unsalted pumpkin seeds. I think these taste great and I don’t have worms. Win-win. What do chickens know.
