Description
Ocimum basilicum
A select strain of extremely large-leafed basil. Plants grow 24-30″ tall with leaves as long as 4″. Use fresh or dried for flavoring sauces, soups, dressings, and pesto. Very productive.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Basil will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, basil will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for leaves and flowers. Annual.

I am planting most of this, but you would need some serious land to get it all in the ground. I am going to buy 2 more for my survival kit and bulk purchase the seeds I use regularly. Very pleased and pretty simple for a first time gardener.

Great pack of winter seeds. The seeds are high quality and sprouting rate is much higher than others.
