Description
Ocimum basilicum
A select strain of extremely large-leafed basil. Plants grow 24-30″ tall with leaves as long as 4″. Use fresh or dried for flavoring sauces, soups, dressings, and pesto. Very productive.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Basil will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, basil will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for leaves and flowers. Annual.

The seeds are exactly the perfect combination of vegetables I want to grow in my garden. Other packages have items I was not interested in.

It’s too late in the season to plant so next year. Price was great, well packaged.

I won’t know how they grow until I plant them next spring.

I feel like this product should have a disclaimer in a good way; so here I am wanting to start a garden this year thinking ok I’m going to buy some seeds and start early because you know if at first you don’t succeed try again. Well I succeeded in an abundance. I planted extra seeds thinking well what if some don’t sprout and grow….. well they all sprouted an abundance of seeds and I refuse to get rid of a beautiful little vegetable that started spouting so here I am with an abundance of seedlings growing. Disclaimer these seeds are great quality and have a 100% sprout rate.

We are pleased with the seed order and the variety of seeds. We did not know that some of these vegetable variations existed and look forward to trying them all.

I dig these seeds. No Monsanto GMO in these seed packets! Just natural heirlooms that will be put to work in my greenhouse in the coming months. Everything sealed up nicely and details provided on the package & electronically.
