  Phaseolus vulgaris

ORGANIC. HEIRLOOM. A fanciful name for a fanciful bean! This beautiful variety originated in the Netherlands in the 18th century, and we can see why it has endured so long. The flat, yellow, stringless pods sport bright purple to magenta streaks, and taste just as good as they look. This dual-purpose variety can also be grown to full maturity and used as dry beans, similar to pintos.

14 gram packet contains a minimum of 30 seeds.

I feel like this product should have a disclaimer in a good way; so here I am wanting to start a garden this year thinking ok I’m going to buy some seeds and start early because you know if at first you don’t succeed try again. Well I succeeded in an abundance. I planted extra seeds thinking well what if some don’t sprout and grow….. well they all sprouted an abundance of seeds and I refuse to get rid of a beautiful little vegetable that started spouting so here I am with an abundance of seedlings growing. Disclaimer these seeds are great quality and have a 100% sprout rate.

  2. Gus?

Happy with the variety and that they are heirloom seeds

  3. Peyton?

The Nasturtium seed alone are worth the price

  5. Aiden White?

Instructions are very clear and easy to follow! Hardest part is the wait, but should start to see some growth any day now!

I got thus autumn seeds pack to grow some good vegetables. Unfortunately it is a bit too late in the season even for autumn vegetables. The seeds all look good and none appear to be damaged. None the less I planted three seeds from each pack in a starter tray to test and see their viability. All of them have germinated and are poking through the soil now. That’s really about as far as I can take them for a review at this point. I will put them in some pots and keep them indoors in some pots. Maybe I can get something off from some of them. There is a good variety of plants in the package and I daresay that everyone should be able to find at least one, if not many more vegetables they like from the pack. However there are also a few that are not so popular. Only time will tell. If I remember I may come back to update this post next year when I can start them a little earlier in the season.
