Description
Diplotaxis tenuifolia
Wild arugula, also known as wild rocket or perennial wall rocket, has the flavor of common arugula with even more peppery kick and sweeter, more complex flavor. Unlike common arugula, this cold-hardy, unfussy plant will come back year after year, and is also less likely to bolt in hot weather than its annual cousin. As the name “wall rocket” suggests, it is known to grow out of cracks in walls and on rocky slopes. It also readily self-seeds. What a great way to have nearly maintenance-free salad greens throughout the year!
The flavor tends to get spicier and spicier as the weather warms up later in the season, but if it gets too intense for you, a quick blanch in boiling water will tone it down nicely. Pick individual leaves and leave most of the plant intact to ensure a perennial harvest.
0.5 gram packet contains a minimum of 600 seeds. This wild plant has naturally low germination rates – sow a bit heavily.

My son loves these. He packs them at little league games and enjoys them while in the dug out. It’s a must among boys his age. I recommend.

Great variety and colors. The price is 2.5% of what I would have paid in the store.

I love pumpkin seeds but have stayed away because so many have too much sodium for me. The Eden Organic seeds are dry roasted out of the shell and have only 100mg of sodium in a quarter cup serving. This is half of the brand I’ve been eating.

Didn’t eat them, bag was open and spilled all over package.
