Description
Matricaria recutita
The variety of chamomile with the highest oil content. Because of this, it’s especially suitable for chamomile tea. Plants grow 30 inches high. Readily self-seeding.
Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Chamomile will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination. Once germinated, chamomile will need at least an inch of water per week. Typically grown for flowers. Annual.

They look lovely, and we will be planting soon. Can’t wait!

These seeds are great. The photo was taken at 9 days. Most germination was at 7 and the others were 8 days. This was a father son project. We used a heat mat with covered pots till germination then removed the covers when they peeked up. Moistened the soil at planting then sprayed with water bottle 1 spray every other day, every day once covers are removed with 2 sprays.
